Review Process

Understanding Requirement

Each business comes with its use cases and budget. So, I break down the requirements first and move to the next step.

  • I start by thoroughly exploring different options.
  • Understanding the purpose, features, and target audience offered by different softwares brands.

Create a Review Plan

An in-depth review requires solid planning.

  • I outline the structure of tools and plan review accordingly.
  • I note down different criteria and aspects that need to be evaluated.

Testing

Depending on the tool/software/affiliate program category, I’ve defined over 10 testing points.

  • The review starts by creating a demo site/project, webpage, etc.
  • Once installed or live, I start reviewing followed by the checklist.
  • First starts with installation, compatibility, browsers, functionality, features, performance, speed, devices, experience, design, layout, etc.
  • Some tests are performance, design, and speed are specific for WordPress Themes, Plugins, Hosting, etc.

Price

  • The most critical factor influencing a user’s purchasing power is the tool/software’s price.
  • Check prices and compare with other softwares, tools, websites, and programs.

Comparison

Basic comparison with rivals. This provides an overview of the tool, software, etc.

  • Usually, I create an in-depth comparison table with all the tools before undergoing in-depth testing.
  • List down what’s missing? What other brands are offering, and who is offering REAL value for money?

Writing Review

I collect all pointers from testing and observation.

Review & Editing

This step includes checking, correcting, and improving all content.

Ranking

I decide the ranking position for each tool, and software (Theme, Plugin, etc.). This also gives a summary of how well it works for different users or business needs.

Publish & Feedback

This involves publishing and waiting for your feedback. I do listen to each comment and fact-check with my testing.

Content Updates

I update all articles (reviews, lists, etc.) if there’s an update from brands.

Additional Details

On average, it takes me 4-5 days to publish a blog post (I know it’s too long, but quality over everything). This process includes topic research, testing (different online tools, softwares, etc.), writing & fact-checking. Below are additional steps involved in the content-creating process:

  • Topic Research & Analysis: Each topic starts with in-depth research (I follow a yearly calendar distributed into months, weeks and days). There are no such trending searches or interest topics. Directly or indirectly, each blog topic talks about blogging & making money with a core focus on helping beginners (I see no value in writing for page views – especially with Blogbias.com). Once final, I break the entire topic theme into sub-topics and each possible query – also known as keyword research.
  • Planning, Data & Writing: Once you have data (stats or other research for the topic) and planning is done – it’s time to write. At Blogbias, I write myself as I believe in communicating with my readers and showing them a level of expertise in answers.
  • Visuals: A visual can be an image (thumbnail, post image, infographics, etc.). Too much content can be boring for some users. Adding an image complements and enhances the reader’s experience.
  • Information Sources or Credits: Trust and content work together. I credit external sources when I use any source of information or data in the content. I incorporate internal links to related articles (for better context) and external links to sources (usually brands and detailed pages to provide further context and additional resources).
  • Content Reviews & Quality Updates: Being “up to date” is a vital aspect of marketing. Depending on the topic’s relevancy and context, I make sure that you read updated information (rules, guidelines, statistics, and different listicle content).

This content-writing process reflects my dedication to delivering high-quality, informative, and user-focused content as per the content policy.

I’m committed to empowering you with the knowledge and tools you need for WordPress, blogging, SEO, AdSense, and online earning.
